Music & Liturgy Coordinator
Hello! My name is Kimmy Amparo and I have the privilege of serving as St. John Neumann Catholic Church’s Coordinator of Music and Liturgy. It is with great joy and gratitude that I embark on this journey to serve the St. John Neumann community. I am a Southeastern University graduate with a Bachelors of Music Education with a Choral Emphasis; My family and I have been Lakeland natives and devout catholics for as long as I can remember. Music has always been a passion that allows me to connect deeply with the Lord; It is said that singing is like praying twice if done from the heart and I completely agree. I still have much to learn and through the grace of the Holy Spirit I pray that the Lord continues to guide me on this journey to best serve this wonderful community at St. John Neumann. I ask for your prayers and know that I am also praying for you. Psalm 95:1 “Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.”
¡Hola todos! Mi nombre es Kimmy Amparo y tengo el privilegio de servir a esta parroquia como su Coordinadora de Música y Liturgia. Es con gran alegría y agradecimiento que empiezo esta jornada de servicio. Asistí a la universidad Southeastern University aquí en Lakeland, donde he vivido la mayoría de mi vida, y recibí mi Licenciatura en Educación Musical con énfasis en Dirección Coral. Mi familia y yo somos católicos devotos de toda la vida. La música siempre ha sido una pasión que me permite conectarme profundamente con el Señor; Se dice que cantar es orar dos veces si se hace desde el corazón y estoy completamente de acuerdo. Todavía tengo mucho que aprender y por la gracia del Espíritu Santo pido que el Señor continúe guiándome en este caminar para servir mejor a esta maravillosa comunidad de St. John Neumann. Les pido que me mantengan en sus oraciones y también estoy orando por ustedes. Salmo 95:1 “Venid, cantemos con alegría al Señor ; gritemos con fuerza a la Roca de nuestra salvación.”
