PURPOSE

• To provide readers of the Word for Mass and other liturgical celebrations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Understand and appreciate the role of the Scriptures within the Liturgy
• Have a clear and pleasant speaking voice
• Study and practice readings during the week
• Attend training session
• Undergo FBI fingerprinting background check and receive Safe Environment Certification
