Maria Centeno was born in Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of eleven, initially settling in Illinois. Later, she moved to Florida, where she was blessed with forming her family.
Maria Centeno has completed her BAS in Supervision and Management from Polk State College. Throughout her service in the parish, she has taken catechesis courses from Dayton University, Southeast Pastoral Institute (SEPI), Faith Fit, and others.
After working for 8 years in retail as a customer service manager, Maria was blessed to join St. John Neumann Parish as Secretary in 2017. She has since moved up from Secretary to Administrative Assistant, then to Office Manager, and now serves as the Parish Catechetical Coordinator. Maria looks forward to continuing to be part of the St. John Neumann Parish community.
