Father Rogelio Landeta was born in Venezuela and is the oldest of five brothers. After serving in the Venezuelan Army for two years, he was admitted in the St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Palmira, Táchira State in Venezuela. From that point on a new journey in his spiritual life had begun. After undergoing years of integral preparation, in July of 1996 he was ordained Deacon and in March of 1997 he was ordained a priest. By 2017, Father Rogelio had been vicar in ten parishes, with two years experience as a parish priest, fifteen years as director in three parochial schools, and 16 years as chaplain of the Venezuelan Army. In October of 2017, he joined the Diocese of Orlando and was resident at St. Luke's Parish in Barefoot Bay with Father Robert Mitchell who tutored him in the preparation to celebrate Holy Mass in the English Language. Then in late 2018 he was assigned parochial vicar for St. Charles Borromeo in Orlando. As of June 2019, Father Rogelio was appointed parochial vicar of St. Joseph Parish in Lakeland with duties at St. John Neumann Catholic Church for the Hispanic Community until the present.
